Completion Requirements

All Special Education Training Center’s eLearners must register/enroll and meet the satisfaction completion requirements to receive their certificate of attendance.  Registration must be done through SETC’s website 3 days prior to the eLearning course and/or face-to-face training begins.   The “Satisfactory Completion Requirements” are: 1) FULL ATTENDANCE: Full attendance of the eLearning course/s, Master Trainer-of-Trainer, Reteach Series, and/or face-to-face training is MANDATORY 2)E-LEARNING COURSE QUESTIONNAIRE: At the end of the eLearning course/s, Master Trainer-of-Trainer, Reteach Series, and/or face-to-face training, all eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s must complete the “eLearning Survey Questionnaire”, before taking the certification examination. The purpose of the survey is to gain valuable information about the eLearning course/s and/or face-to-face training overall presentation and desired outcomes, to support all our eLearner continuing education/professional development needs. 3)CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION: The “Certification Examination” is 45 minutes and allows the eLearner a minimum of 5 attempts to pass the certification examination. eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s must pass the certification examination at 80% or Higher. 4)CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE: The “Certificate of Attendance” will be awarded to the eLearner when the certification examination is passed at 80% or higher. 5)5. SECT-LLC PROCESS VERIFYING ELEARNERS ATTENDANCE Special Education Training Center’s Learning tracks continuing education/professional development (CE/PD), verification of attendance: and active learning in several ways.  SETC defines CE/PD/ASHA Credit hours as the time spent by the eLearner in “Active Learning”. Active learning is defined as the actual time spent learning something relevant to their CPD objectives. 6)SETC’s eLearners are tracked: Registration: All Special Education Training Center’s eLearner must register/enroll through SETC’s website 3 days prior to the eLearning course and/or face-to-face begins. Registration/enrollment questions are designed specifically to gather not only data but to track the eLearner participation in the eLearning course. 7)SETC’s Learning Management System (LMS): Special Education Training Center tracks eLearners through its learning management system (LMS) located on SETC’s website. A learning management system is a software application that is used to plan, manage, and deliver elearning content. The learning management system (LMS) tracks signing in and out of SETC, tracks moving through each of the eLearning course sections, tracks pre-test and post-test, course progress, tracks when the specific time spent in the eLearning course, and completion of the following:    1. eLearning Survey Questionnaire, 2. Certification Examination, and the issuing of the Certificate of Attendance
