Strategies for the Inclusion Classroom

Description:
The online course, Strategies for the Inclusion Classroom, will discuss some common strategies used in the classroom. More students with special and exceptional needs are now being placed in inclusive classrooms than ever before. This shift can create anxiety and stress for general educators who may not have extensive training in special education. Every teacher aims to deliver the best possible education for their students. Having spent the last decade as a special education teacher, my role has been to assist general education teachers in sharing the responsibility for students with special needs. I collaborate with them to ensure that all students have the resources they need to thrive, while also helping teachers develop their skills. Here are five effective strategies for working with students in an inclusive setting.
