Children diagnosed with OCD has risen in response to the warnings being described on national and local news, school systems, and the constant reminders from family and friends to take precautions to prevent COVID-19 by washing one’s hands excessively. “Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD) is a chronic disorder characterized by recurrent obsessions and compulsions which affects about 0.5%–3% of children and adolescents (American Psychiatric Association, 2013; Heyman et al., 2003).
