

The “Satisfactory Completion
Requirements” are:
1.
FULL ATTENDANCE: Full attendance of
the eLearning course/s and/or face-to-face training is mandatory.
2. E-LEARNING COURSE QUESTIONNAIRE: At the end of the
eLearning course/s and/or face-to-face training, all eLearner/s/Federal/State
employee/s must complete the “eLearning Course Questionnaire”,
before taking the certification
examination. The purpose of the survey is to gain valuable information about
the eLearning course/s and/or face-to-face training overall presentation and
desired outcomes, to support all our eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s continuing
education/professional development needs.
3. CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION: The “Certification
Examination” is 45 minutes and allows the eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s a minimum
of 5 attempts to pass the certification examination. eLearner/s/Federal/State
employee/s must pass the certification examination at 80% or Higher.
4. CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE: The “Certificate
of Attendance” will
be awarded to the eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s when the certification
examination is passed at 80% or higher.

Special Education
Training Center’s Learning tracks continuing education/professional development
(CE/PD), verification of attendance: and active learning in several ways. SETC defines CEPD Hours as the time spent by
the learner in “active learning”. Active learning defines the
actual time spent learning something relevant to their CPD objectives.
SETC’s eLearners are tracked:
Registration: All Special
Education Training Center’s eLearner/s/Federal/State
employee/s must register/enroll through SETC’s website 3 days prior
to the eLearning course and/or face-to-face begins. Registration/enrollment
questions are designed specifically to gather not only data but to track the
eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s participation in the eLearning course.
Learning
Management System (LMS): Special Education Training Center
tracks eLearners eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s through
its learning management system (LMS) located on SETC’s website. A learning
management system is a software application that is used to plan, manage, and
deliver elearning content. The learning management system (LMS) tracks signing
in and out of SETC, tracks moving through each of the eLearning course
sections, tracks pre-test and post-test, course progress, tracks when the
specific time spent in the eLearning course, eLearning Course
Questionnaire, eLearning Course Exam, and Certificate of Attendance.
SETC’s
learning management system starts tracking the
eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s active engagement whether it’s online
and/or face-to-face training.

eLearners/User/Users/Federal/State employee/s are required to provide their
NASP ID# and the number of credits earned to be placed on their certificate of
attendance.

ASHA ID:
eLearners/User/Users/Federal/State employee/s are required to provide their
ASHA ID# and the number of credits earned to be placed on their certificate of
attendance.

TRAINING:
If
the eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s is participating in face-to-face
training, in addition to enrolling through SETC’s website, the eLearner/s/Federal/State
employee/s must physically sign the registration/enrollment log which is placed
at the entrance of the on-site training door. The eLearner/s/Federal/State
employee/s must sign in and out of the face-to-face training when exiting the
face-to-face training site.
USERNAME/PASSWORD: SETC’s
eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s will be provided with a specific username
and password.

Verification of Attendance: Special Education Compliance and Training LLC
(SECT-LLC) through its web-based
eLearning school Special Education Training Center (SETC) make every effort to
ensure ALL eLearner/s Federal/State
employee/s have attended and participated in the learning opportunities
provided by Special Education Training Center such as eLearning course,
face-to-face training, reteach series, Master Trainer-of-Trainer, and eLearning
courses created for governmental agencies/private businesses.
The following steps are used to verify eLearner/s
/Federal/State employees have attended training provided through Special
Education Training Center:
SIGN-ON & SIGN-OUT: SECT-LLC’s eLearning web-based eLearning school Special Education
Training Center requires ALL eLearner/s/ Federal/State employee/s to sign-in
and sign-out of our web-based eLearning school Special Education Training
Center.
USERNAME & PASSWORD: eLearner/s/Federal/State employees secured individual
username and password.
VIEWER TRACKING: Our video player continuously makes API calls that
allow Special Education Training Center to keep track of what part of the video
has been viewed by the eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s.
ACTIVITY VIEWER CHECKS: Special Education Training Center can enable active
viewer checks. Active viewer checks allow for the video player to periodically
display a button that the eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s to press within a
given number of seconds to confirm his presence in front of the screen. The
following aspects of the periodic check can be configured per video:
§ Minimum number of
seconds between two checks
§ Maximum number of
seconds between two checks
§ Number of seconds a
student has to press the button
BEGINING VIDEO: At the beginning of the video, the button is shown
after the minimum number of seconds. If the eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s
continues to press the button in a timely manner, the time after which the
button appears will gradually increase (until the maximum number of seconds is
reached). If the eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s does not press the button
in time, the button will reappear next time after the minimum number of
seconds.
MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS: It’s possible
to add multiple choice questions, which will be asked after the eLearner/s/Federal/State
employee/s has watched a video. The required percentage of correct answers can
be set per video. In this case, it will only consider a course as completed if
this percentage has been achieved. For courses consisting of several videos, a
quiz can follow each video.
PRE/POST TEST ELEARNING COURSE/S: Special Education Training Center will ONLY consider
the eLearning course, face-to-face training, reteach series, Master
Trainer-of-Trainer, and eLearning courses created for governmental
agencies/private businesses modules have been completed, pre-test and post-test
completed and a passing rate of 80%.
FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING: SETCs Face-to-Face training, requires logging on/out
of Special Education Training Center’s website, and physically signing the “SETC
Attendance Log.”
TIMEFRAME FOR SECURING DATA: The eLearner/s/Federal/State employee/s data is
retained for a 5 -7-year period…”
