DESCRIPTION:
The online course, "Special Education Licensed Professionals: Applying School Health and Related Services in School-Based Settings LEVEL 1” is an introductory online course for licensed professionals, professionals new to working in school-based settings, parents, special education-related service professionals, campus, and district staff who are currently working with or will be working with the special education population. The online course will discuss how state agencies in Texas coordinate and implement the School Health and Related Services (SHARS) program, parental notice and consent, approved provider services, enrolling SHARS, benefits and limitations of SHARS, records, claims, billable services, and management, and Random Moment Time Study (RMTS).
